Welcome to the Sail Safaris blog.
We will support you both as a sailor and as a first time visitor to this paradise of wild animals. There are no marinas, no tavernas; few people, moorings in secluded bays, bows on to the beach We have different levels of support for sailing, walking and catering:
1. You opt for a sailor on your Tiki to help with sailing, navigation, wild life and where to moor. He helps with the cooking and washes up. He leaves your yacht after supper to sleep in a pup tent on the shore so your privacy is intact at night.
2. You opt to have a Professional Guide, trained and licenced by National Parks. He is also a sailor with this specialist skill. He sleeps on the shore in his tent.
3. You opt to have a Chef; he too is a sailor. He too sleeps on the shore in his tent.
4. You select self catering – bring your own food and drink; self cook, where we supply all provisions and the matching menus; fully catered by us with a chef. If your flotilla size reaches three Tikis, we will provide a “mothership” (another Tiki) as the base for the Chef and the Pro Guide and any sailor that your crews need. This is extra yacht is free.
